Who We Are

At ASAP translations we understand that we are living in a globalized world, where the ability and/or necessity of moving from one corner of the planet to the other is ever increasing.

Whether you want to sell or promote your products/services or communicate with other people that don’t speak your language, the need to take your message across is of paramount importance, and we have the resources and infrastructure to do it.

ASAP Translations is an experienced and trusted interpretation and translation referral agency. Our professional team of interpreters is ready to remove the language barriers between your staff and Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients, so you can provide the best possible care, make the best decisions and generate better outcomes.

We are proud to serve a diverse group of industries and strive to provide the most reliable, accurate, confidential and professional language services. We are at the main hospitals in the region, as well as in multiple medical facilities and doctor’s offices around town. You can also find us interpreting at other non-medical settings where we can be proactive with our community.

Our interpreters and translators are certified, authorized, or qualified and have gone through a rigorous selection process. We take seriously the guidelines and directives from The Joint Commission, The American Healthcare Association (AHCA) and the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) as well as the standards for practice dictated by the main interpreters and translators’ associations (ATA, IMIA, CHIA, NCIHC).

Our team follows a strict Code of Ethics, understands the importance of remaining impartial, and keeps all the information disclosed on the job confidential.

ASAP is deeply committed with language access issues. Removing language barriers for LEP (Limited English Proficient) individuals will allow them to fully integrate with the main stream community; therefore our involvement with advocacy organizations such as DES’s BDAG (Business Diversity Advisory Group), WASCLA (Washington State Coalition for Language Access) and AHANA Multi-Ethnic Business Association.

Our Commitment to Accurate Translation

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or machine translators might be tempting for an inexpensive, quick translation, but it is not a recommended solution for your important communication needs. AI/machine translators are not human and do not have human experience. AI/machine translators will mistranslate idioms, dialects, and figures of speech, often translating them word for word without understanding their deeper meaning. Human interpreters and translators, on the other hand, have an instinct for the regional variations of a language and its idiosyncrasies. Important documents should be translated by humans to ensure the meaning is not lost.
